Mica Band Heaters

The MI band heater from MAA-TARA is a high performance heater. It performance and name is derived from MAA-TARA exclusive mineral insulation - a mineral with higher thermal conductivity than mica and hard ceramic insulators used in conventional heaters.

A thin layer of "high" thermal conductive MI mineral used to electrically insulate the element wire from inside diameter of heater sheath. A thicker, "low" thermal conductivity layer backs up the element wire directing the heat inward toward the part beaning heated.
